Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Kapi ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Description of Service
Kapi is a developer tools platform for building, deploying, and managing AI agent applications, including but not limited to: pre-built blueprint templates, a visual canvas workflow builder, AI-assisted blueprint and workflow generation, integration connectors, evaluation and quality tools, and manifest and data export. Access to certain features may require registration and/or a paid subscription.
3. User Accounts
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
4. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Share your account credentials or allow others to access your account
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Platform
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
- Deploy agents that harass, abuse, or harm others
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or its systems
- Use automated tools to scrape or collect data from the Platform
- Circumvent usage limits, evaluation guardrails, or security controls
5. Intellectual Property
The Platform, including its runtime, blueprints, components, UI patterns, and software, is the property of Kapi or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Platform for building applications.
Your own material — the manifests and configurations you create, the content and documents you supply, and the data your applications generate — remains yours. You may export it through the Platform's export feature and use it without restriction, including for commercial purposes.
The Platform runtime itself is not distributed and is not licensed for use outside the Platform. Running it within your own infrastructure requires a separate written agreement with us.
6. Payment and Subscriptions
Certain features require payment. The free tier includes the full blueprint catalog and one live deployment; running two live deployments at once requires a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to pay all applicable fees. Subscriptions will automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis in accordance with our refund policy. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.
7. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. AI Tools and Generated Content
The Platform includes AI-powered features for building agent workflows and generating blueprint configurations. AI-generated content is provided "as is" and should be reviewed before production deployment. You are responsible for how you use AI-generated outputs, including agent behaviors and anything your applications produce or send on your behalf. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content for any particular purpose. You retain ownership of the applications you configure and the content you supply.
9. Disclaimers
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. BLUEPRINT PREVIEWS ARE FOR DEMONSTRATION PURPOSES AND MAY NOT REFLECT PRODUCTION-GRADE PERFORMANCE.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KAPI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease and active preview environments will be shut down. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of California.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
